Ms Rice is an American political scientist and diplomat. She served as U.S. Secretary of State under former President George Bush. She will be discussing her views about “Mobilizing the Human Potential” on Tuesday December 13, 2013 from 1:30-3:00 pm for the New Horizons Lecture Series. Ms Rice is well respected around the world for her serious nature and basic understanding of human relations and interactions as it relates to the field of science and technology.

Condolezza Rice will be returning to the Chicago area on March 19, 2014 to speak at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois for the 4th Annual World Leaders Forum which was formed by Judson alumnus and Tata Technologies executive, Kevin Noe. The idea behind the new group was to establish a forum which would offer students and local community members an opportunity to be inspired by world leaders and have a chance to actually speak with them in person. Ms Rice will be the keynote speakers at the forum. The Mayor of Elgin and numerous community leaders have been major supporters of this new group because already previous keynote speakers have been Mikhail Gorbachev of the Soviet Union and Tony Blair, prime minister of the United Kingdom.
